Tara McGeehan
Instructor
Tara first started practicing yoga as a way to move her body but quickly learned how much more the practice has to offer. Yoga has helped her find the resilience, courage and inner strength to show up as a better friend, wife and colleague.
She received her RYT-200 in 2023 at Yoba Studio and couldn't wait to start teaching. She loves to show others how freeing this practice can be.
By day, Tara is a professor at Campbell University where she mentors the next generation of pharmacists. Outside of work, you can find Tara spending time with her husband and their two pups, binge-watching Bravo, or traveling somewhere new.

How long have you been practicing:
My sister took me to my first hot yoga class in 2014 and I've been hooked ever since!
I can do hard things.
What has YoBa meant to you?
YoBa has kept me grounded through so many big transitions - a big move, a new job, and so much self discovery. It truly is the best place to get out of your head and into your body.
Normal Gossip - I'm a sucker for a messy story
